Things Are in the Works

There’s a lot happening with Oscavire right now, even if not all of it is visible yet.

Lately, a lot of my time has been spent taking photos, working on new ideas, revisiting old ones, and trying to turn everything I have in my head into something real. Some days that means making something new. Other days it means adjusting the same small detail over and over until it finally feels right.

It’s slow work.

I think there’s a version of creating where everything looks like constant progress from the outside—new releases, new photos, new posts, one thing after another. The reality is usually a lot less exciting. There are stretches where you’re just putting in the hours without knowing exactly where they’re going to lead.

That’s where I’ve been lately.

Taking Photos

I’ve been spending a lot of time shooting.

Not just because Oscavire needs new photos, but because photography has become another part of figuring out what Oscavire actually is.

A different location, a strange shadow, the way fabric sits, something half-hidden in the background—sometimes those little things say more about the world I’m trying to build than a perfectly planned image ever could.

I’m still experimenting. Still learning what works. Still taking plenty of photos that absolutely do not work.

But every once in a while, there’s one.

And you look at it and think:

Yeah. That’s Oscavire.

Those moments keep me going.

Putting in the Work

There’s also a lot happening that nobody really sees.

Editing photos. Building things. Scrapping things. Starting over. Working on the site. Thinking about products. Thinking about how everything should look and feel. Making something, staring at it for too long, deciding I hate it, then coming back the next morning and realizing maybe it wasn't so bad.

The glamorous stuff.

I’m trying to get better at accepting that this is part of it.

Not everything needs to become something immediately.

Sometimes you have to make ten things to discover the one thing worth keeping. Sometimes you spend an entire night working and end up right back where you started.

It can feel like nothing happened.

But something usually did.

You learned.

Trying to Keep Going

This might be the biggest thing in the works.

Just keeping Oscavire moving.

There are times when I have a ridiculous amount of energy for it. Ideas everywhere. I want to make everything at once.

And then there are stretches where it gets harder.

You start wondering whether you're moving fast enough. Whether anybody notices. Whether the thing you're building is actually going somewhere.

I don't have some profound answer for that.

I'm just trying to keep going anyway.

Take another photo.

Make another thing.

Fix another detail.

Try another idea.

Put another little piece of Oscavire into the world.

Maybe building something isn't always about having some huge burst of inspiration. Maybe most of it is simply deciding that you're going to come back tomorrow.

So that's where things are right now.

There are new ideas in the works. New photos being taken. Things being built, changed, thrown away, and rebuilt.

I don't know exactly what all of it will turn into yet.

But Oscavire is still here.

I'm still working.

And I'm going to keep going.
